Which also showed that the drug appeared to last longer than salvinorin A. Then came another report that a slight modification to this compound made an even stronger drug. Salvinorin B methoxymethyl ether, appeared to be about ten times as potent as salvinorin A in vitro. If this turned out to be true in humans as well. It would make salvinorin B methoxymethyl ether (henceforth referred to as “Symmetry”) one of the most potent known psychedelics, comparable to the legendary LSD.
